AIDS Law Project’s 14th Annual Summer Movie Party

The AIDS Law Project is gearing up for another year of food, laughs and fundraising at our 14th annual Summer Movie party, this year: Friday, July 19th! Each summer, colleagues, friends and supporters of the AIDS Law Project enjoy a movie night courtesy of Philadelphia’s own, Jay Schwartz, proprietor of The Secret Cinema. But it’s about much more than movie watching. It’s an evening of great food, cold drinks and conversation benefitting the AIDS Law Project, and this year’s promises to be our best yet!

Hollywood Party, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0025263/, which film historian Richard Barrios describes as ‘hilarious yet so strange” is this year’s feature.  At 67 minutes, it’s shorter than previous offerings, so we will also have some shorts from the Secret Cinema vault.

The evening’s events will take place at the William Way Center, 1315 Spruce Street, Philadelphia. Doors will open at 6pm and the movie will begin at 7:30. Admission is a minimum tax-deductible donation of $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
